Hello again bitches .........
Well it is 6:00 am, and I am clueless on what to write about, things have been pretty quiet on the 'flake front.' All I have been able to do lately is work, and sleep. I knew owning a business was hard but it has consumed me. So since this is Coffee Talk I thought I would teach all you bitches how to make a decent cup of Coffee!
There are 2 ways of bringing Joe home with you from the grocery store.
1. Whole Bean - if you can this option is best. When the coffee beans are picked they are green in color and are sent to a roasting house. They are roasted and then packaged, thats why they are brown in color when they get to you. Roasting helps preserve and lock that deep delicious flavor in the bean.
2. Ground - If you take home pre-ground coffee, remember this, there are 3 things that are "killers" to our friend Joe,
A. Moisture
B. Air
C. Sunlight
so, to keep Joe young and fresh always remember to close the lid on the coffee container, and store it in a cabinet. IF you have an airtight container your a step ahead of the game.
Ok so now you have brought Joe home for a little "morning delight" How do you get him all hot and steamy?
First, coffee pots that pour directly into a insulated carafe are best, pots that have a burner will over heat Joe, and he will become a bitter man. General rule of thumb is 2 tablespoons for every 4 cups of coffee.
Since I am one for time saving tricks here is one for you, pre mix your extras. So if you enjoy some cream with your Joe, or if he needs a little suga, do it first. Add the cream and sugar to your pot before the coffee is brewing, that way all the goodies can get to know each other and become friends before they hit your cup.
Once the Joe is done brewing give the pot a swirl, come one ladies you know how guys are after they have gotten hot and steamy, Joe needs a little swirl to wake back up!
Pour a cup full and enjoy!
